Job Description
    Tax Representation /Tax litigation: (4-7 years)
    1. Drafting technical responses to assessment notices.
    2. Preparing submissions for Income Tax Representation.
    3. Drafting responses to notices and making scrutiny submissions.
    4. Preparing written submissions for Appeals before income tax officers, CIT(A), and ITAT.
    5. Leading the team/division of Tax Assessments and Tax Litigations.
    6. Handling Income Tax Scrutiny Assessment and Appeals.
    7. Providing exposure to various industries such as the automobile industry, manufacturing
    sector, food industry, etc.
    8. Working closely with leaders with a combined experience of 45+ years.

    Tax Business: (5-7 years)
    1. Lead and manage a team comprising assistants, handling a diverse portfolio of non-corporate clients, including not-for-profit organizations (NPO).
    2. Finalize client deliverables and coordinate tax planning and tax risk management assignments under the guidance of the partner.
    3. Address advisory, litigation, and business tax requirements, offering holistic tax solutions to clients, analyzing tax risks proactively, and suggesting structuring options.
    4. Manage all tax compliances related to a portfolio of clients, including withholding tax advisory.
    5. Review non-corporate tax returns, vet tax positions, and coordinate with tax representation teams regarding notices from the Tax Department.
    6. Ensure compliance with business tax requirements for non-corporate assesses.
    7. Lead the review and modification of key tax processes and systems, identifying opportunities for streamlining.
    8. Maintain client relationships, identify new service opportunities, and participate in client meetings.
    9. Supervise, train, and mentor the team for overall growth.
    10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide comprehensive tax solutions to clients.
    11. Ensure efficient project completion within budgeted time and cost.
    12. Support practice management initiatives and financial metrics.
    13. Conduct research and assist in preparing research papers and technical articles on direct tax issues.
    14. Communicate and interact with partners regularly.

    Tax HNI: (1-3 years)
    1. Income Tax Knowledge:
    2. Working knowledge in Income Tax matters related to financial transactions like Mutual Funds, Listed/Unlisted Shares, AIFs, Futures & Options, Immovable Properties, and other financial products.
    3. Tax Computations: Experience in handling tax computations for High-Net-Worth Individuals, including analyzing bank statements, portfolio statements, demat statements, and other fund documents.
    4. Tax Assessments: Handling regular tax assessments, attending tax office, and responding to various notices issued by the tax department.
    5. Technical Knowledge: Technical knowledge in understanding various Income Tax provisions and the ability to interpret and comprehend changes in tax laws.
    6. Tax Audits: Experience in handling tax audits of non-corporate entities and MSME businesses, including professionals like consultants, doctors, architects, etc.
    7. Financial Reporting: Preparation of balance sheets and monthly financial MIS reports for High-Net-Worth individuals and their business entities, along with supporting schedules and notes.
    8. Audit of Trusts: Working experience in handling audits of trusts, including charitable trusts, gratuity trusts, PF funds, superannuation funds, etc.
    9. Accounting Software: Working knowledge in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, etc.
    10. Team Management: Experience in managing a team size of 10-15

Desired Candidate Requirement
    1.Qualifications required- BCom, Semi- CA, CA, Post qualification experience in direct tax.
    2.Should have atleast 1-7 years of relevant experience.
    3. Good technical knowledge in Tax Assessments, Litigations, and Appeals.
    4. Strong drafting skills for technical responses and submissions.
    5. Hands-on experience in Scrutiny or Appeals work (preferred).
    6. Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
    7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    8. Knowledge of the automobile industry, manufacturing sector, and food industry (preferred).
    9. Proactive and detail-oriented approach to work.
    10. Strong organizational, time and project management skills.
    11. In-depth knowledge of Income Tax law, with exposure to other laws such as GST and Labour laws.
    12. Experience in Income tax advisory, litigation, and compliance.
    13. Ability to handle assignments involving technical research on Non-Corporate Tax.
