Job Description

• Experience and knowledge of court procedures at civil courts, criminal courts, tribunals, arbitrations, regulatory agencies under various laws across India.
• To handle end-to-end litigation matters for the company in various forums including drafting, reviewing and finalization of Plaint, WS and other documents to be filed in the Court and also attend hearing on behalf of the company.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with advocates and law firms
• Review and negotiation of contracts related to real estate matters
• Participate and lead group initiatives.
• Actively working on training and building awareness.
• To manage all civil, criminal, IPR, clients, arbitration and other commercial litigations in India including review of all documents like SLP, appeals, petitions, applications, examination in chief, written statements, written arguments, etc. before filing in the Court.
• To provide in-house support in litigation matters to external counsels. Work with internal stakeholder, collate and provide necessary information and documents to external counsel.
• Preparing, reviewing, and analyzing litigation data; prepare executive level reports for the purpose of Leadership review, regulatory/ audit compliance reporting.
• Drafting, vetting and negotiating contracts related to real estate matters like lease deeds, sale deed, LOI, common area maintenance, heads of terms, MOU, settlement agreements, amendment agreements, renewals, termination letters and other related contracts.
• Support on registration of lease deeds and other property documents.
• Prepare high level dashboards and MIS reporting for leadership review
• Knowledge and exposure to various laws/ regulations related to company’s operations.
• Build collaborative and productive working relationships
• Track current development in field of information technology & compliance
• Provide support to legal team members from other jurisdictions, where required
• Lead with integrity, respect, high personal standards and build personal credibility
• Stay current on compliance laws trends, standards, and best practices.

• Education: LLB or equivalent
• Should have 4-7 years of experience.
