Job Description
Legal Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies, draft legal memoranda, and provide timely and accurate legal opinions to clients, with a focus on Indian law.
Client Representation: Represent clients in Indian courts, negotiations, and during legal proceedings. Prepare and file legal documents, attend hearings, and advocate effectively on behalf of clients within the Indian legal framework.
Document Review: Review and analyze Indian legal documents, contracts, and agreements to identify issues, risks, and compliance requirements.
Drafting: Prepare Indian legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, and other legal instruments. Ensure accuracy and adherence to Indian legal standards.
Client Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, addressing their concerns and providing updates on case developments, particularly in the context of Indian law.
Legal Compliance: Stay abreast of changes in Indian laws and regulations, ensuring that legal advice and strategies align with the latest Indian legal standards.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues within the firm, including partners, junior associates, and paralegals, to deliver comprehensive legal solutions in the Indian context.
Desired Candidate Requirement
Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from a recognized Indian law school.
Active membership in the Indian Bar Council.
Minimum 3 years of legal practice experience, preferably in [Area of Law], within India.
Proficiency in Indian legal research and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and any additional regional languages.
