Job Description
1. Preparation of documentation for assessment proceedings.
2. Preparation of documentation for investigation proceedings.
3. Preparing the brief for matters before CIT(A), ITAT, HC and SC.
4. Preparing compilation of relevant provisions and judgments.
5. Coordinating with the clients, briefing firms, advocates on record, etc.
6. Drafting and reviewing of Writ Petitions, affidavits/ pleadings, and legal opinions.
7. Supervising a team of juniors involved in the matters.
8. Assisting seniors preparation for conferences/ meetings with clients.
9. Legal research generally.
10. Representing the clients before various forums/ authorities
depending on the facts of the case.
11. Advising clients on various complex issues in direct taxation.
Desired Candidate Requirement
1. Qualified Lawyer/CA
2. Should have 2-7 years experience in litigation.
3. Good understanding of legal research.
4. Effective coordination with clients and advocates is necessary.
