Job Description
1. Manage client requirements for tax returns, including:
a. Individual returns (Form 1040)
b. Trust and estate tax returns (Form 1041).
c. Business tax returns (Forms 1120, 1120S, and 1065).
d. State tax returns.
2. Provide training and mentorship to team members on preparing 1040 individual tax returns, fostering skill development and accuracy.
3. Prepare and review tax returns for individual and business clients using CCH tax software, ensuring compliance with Federal and State tax regulations.
4. Ensure the timely delivery of accurate tax returns while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
5. Handle 1099 assignments and other related tax requirements as needed.
Location- Full-time, work-from-office, Mumbai
Working Days and Hours: Monday to Friday - 10-6:30 &
Alternate sat are work from home.
Desired Candidate Requirement
1. Experience: Minimum 8 years in US Taxation with a comprehensive understanding of Federal tax regulations.
2. Expertise: Proven proficiency in preparing and evaluating various tax returns, including:
a. Individual (1040).
b. Business (1120, 1120S, 1065).
c. State tax returns.
3. Track Record: Demonstrated excellence in delivering quality tax services with attention to detail.
4. Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities to manage client requirements effectively.
5. Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, with leadership and mentorship capabilities.
6. Technical Proficiency:
Candidates must have hands-on experience with the following tax software:
a. Go System
b. CCH Access
c. ProSystem fx
d. Ultra Tax
7. Adaptability: Commitment to staying updated on tax law changes and applying knowledge to client situations.
