Job Details
Job Description
1. Conduct fundamental research and analysis of companies in India and globally (listed, unlisted, start-ups).
2. Attend management calls, speak to people in the market to better understand target companies.
3. Conduct valuation exercises via modeling such as DCF analysis to estimate true company valuations.
4. Performance analysis of investments (monthly, quarterly).
5. Analyze potential investments in listed and unlisted (VC / PE funds, early-stage ventures / mature businesses) Indian & Global (particularly the US) market on case to case basis.
6. Help us in strategic decisions in terms of company audit, income tax, GST etc.
7. Co-ordinate with the auditors / GST consultants for any queries during tax filing.
8. Other items as required by the company.
Desired Candidate Requirement
1. In depth knowledge of equity markets is essential; knowledge of any other asset classes would be added advantage.
2. In-depth knowledge of various macro and micro economic factors affecting the market.
3. Knowledge about GST, accounting standards, audit, etc.
4. Quantitative, Numerical and Analytical problem-solving ability.
