Job Details
Job Description
• Ensuring the timely & accurate maintenance of books of account in compliance with GAAP (Indian / other) using computerised accounting software like Tally/Zoho Books/QuickBooks/ NetSuite.
• Present and discuss MIS and other financial reports with detailed analysis and business commentary, periodically with the client leadership team including board members.
• Plan and lead the budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes
• Ensure all statutory compliances in terms of returns/submissions w.r.t to related legislation in India
• Front end client audits (internal / external)
• Lead due diligence reviews
• Ensure compliances with applicable regulations and defendable positions are adopted, for all clients managed
• Accurate & timely payroll and benefits
• Finance policies, processes and procedures are periodically reviewed and documented
• Other duties and tasks as assigned are conducted in a timely and accurate manner
• Lead a team of individuals to support various client engagements assigned - This would include undertaking timely performance appraisals, providing feedback, documenting development plans, mentoring and training the team members.
CTC: 12 - 15 lacs depending on the qualification, years of relevant experience and interview. It can be higher or lower depending on the candidate
Location: Bengaluru
Desired Candidate Requirement
• Qualified CA with 3-5 years of experience.
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), GST & Income Tax Laws. Secretarial compliances knowledge is desired but not essential.
• Ability to develop and establish financial policies and procedures.
• Good Inter-personal skills with ability to manage a team of individuals & work independently, with limited / no supervision
• Good eye for detail, ability to prepare & analyse financial reports and provide insightful business commentary
• Knowledge of policies and practices associated with payroll and benefits administration
• Excellent working knowledge of use of a PC / laptop and software applications (Word,
Excel, PowerPoint), accounting systems such as SAP / QuickBooks / Tally/Zoho Books, etc
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to plan activities and maintain detailed records
• Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
• Should be able to handle multiple clients
