Job Description
1. Case Management & Litigation Strategy:
Handle and oversee litigation cases, including civil, commercial, criminal, corporate, or intellectual property matters.
Develop case strategies, draft pleadings, motions, and legal briefs.
Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support arguments and case development.
Ensure compliance with all court deadlines and procedural requirements.
2. Court Representation:
Appear before courts, tribunals, and regulatory authorities to represent clients.
Conduct cross-examinations, argue motions, and present oral arguments effectively.
Negotiate settlements and alternative dispute resolution methods when applicable.
3. Client Advisory & Communication:
Provide strategic legal advice to clients on litigation risks and potential outcomes.
Maintain regular communication with clients, updating them on case progress.
Draft legal opinions, contracts, and settlement agreements.
4. Team Management & Mentorship:
Supervise and mentor junior associates and legal interns.
Review and approve legal documents prepared by junior team members.
Conduct internal training on litigation best practices and recent legal developments.
5. Business Development & Firm Representation:
Assist in business development by networking, attending legal conferences, and contributing to the firm’s thought leadership.
Work on client acquisition strategies and participate in firm marketing initiatives.
Represent the firm in professional associations and legal events.
CTC - 7-9 LPA
Working hours and days - 10am - 7pm Monday to Friday (WFO) and alternate Saturdays (WFH)
Desired Candidate Requirement
1. Education: LL.B. (Bachelor of Laws) from a recognized institution; LL.M. is a plus.
2. Experience: 4-6 years of litigation experience in a reputed law firm or Chamber
3. Legal Expertise: Strong knowledge of civil and criminal procedure laws, arbitration, and corporate litigation.
4. Advocacy & Negotiation: Excellent courtroom advocacy, legal drafting, and negotiation skills.
5. Communication & Leadership: Strong client management, communication, and leadership abilities.
6. Attention to Detail: Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide precise solutions.
7. Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with legal research tools (e.g., Manupatra, SCC Online) and case management software.
