Job Description
    As Legal Counsel – International & Commercial Affairs, you will lead legal initiatives
    across global operations, supporting regulatory, commercial, and operational teams.
    You’ll ensure the companys contracts, partnerships, and global structures remain
    compliant, efficient, and scalable as they expand internationally.

    • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements: client contracts, vendor
    agreements, NDAs, MSAs, and MOUs.
    • Advise on international regulatory frameworks, including those of the FCA, MAS,
    DIFC, RBI, and other global regulators.
    • Guide business teams through legal risk assessments for onboarding, payments,
    FX, and cross-border operations.
    • Collaborate with compliance to ensure alignment with AML/KYC, GDPR, and data
    privacy laws.
    • Support new market entry and global licensing efforts by coordinating with external
    legal advisors.
    • Manage and improve internal legal templates, policies, and governance processes.
    • Lead or assist in dispute resolution and coordinate with external counsel when
    necessary.
    • Train business and operations teams on legal processes, risk identification, and
    mitigation strategies.

    Location - Mumbai
    Experience - 5-7 years
    CTC - Around 20 LPA (Based on the experience and interview)
    Working days and time - Monday to Friday - 11am to 8 pm
    Mode - Hybrid / On-site

Desired Candidate Requirement

    • Law degree with strong academic credentials; international legal exposure is a plus.
    • 5–7 years of total experience, including in-house experience in fintech, banking, or
    global legal teams.
    • Solid understanding of commercial, contract, and financial regulatory law.
    • Exposure to multi-jurisdictional legal matters, preferably in UK, India, UAE,
    Canada, or Europe.
    • Strategic thinker with commercial acumen and excellent communication skills.
    • Proactive, self-driven, and confident in making independent legal judgments.
